TikTok Slideshow Claude Skill Setup, Prompt and Costs

Making TikTok slideshows with Claude comes down to giving it hands. Quick Throttle is the desktop app your AI drives to write the deck, draw the pictures and save a finished pack.

To make TikTok slideshows with Claude, install Quick Throttle on Windows or Mac, connect it to the Claude app, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cursor, and add your Gemini API key. Then ask your AI for drafts. It writes each deck from your brand facts, you press Approve and Gen Images, fix captions in Compose, and Render saves a pack of 1080x1350 images. It costs $39 for the first 20 sales, then $99 once.

I read the three outside pages quoted here (Anthropic's Agent Skills docs, the ClaudSkills listing and Upload-Post's skill page) on 7 October 2026. I make Quick Throttle, so the steps come from its own manual and changelog. The copy was drafted with AI, and a second model checked every claim against its source before it went up.

A young man with a short beard sits at a wooden desk in a small bedroom at night, working on a laptop beside a phone on a stand that shows a colourful grid of photo thumbnails, lit by an orange desk lamp.

What a TikTok slideshow Claude skill does

A TikTok slideshow Claude skill is a folder of instructions Claude loads when your request matches it. Anthropic's Agent Skills docs say each one packages "instructions, metadata, and optional resources (scripts, templates) that Claude uses automatically when relevant." In Claude Code they sit in ~/.claude/skills/ or .claude/skills/.

The skills people find for this search do different jobs. The TikTok app marketing listing on ClaudSkills says it will "Automate TikTok slideshow marketing for any app or product" and posts through Postiz. Upload-Post's Claude Code Skill for TikTok is about publishing, and says you can "Combine up to 35 photos per carousel post with individual captions and automatic aspect ratio normalization."

Quick Throttle goes a different way. You don't install a skill file. Your AI gets Quick Throttle's own tools to write hooks, render, build decks, import slideshows and queue posts, and you approve, review and export in the app's window. The rest of this page is that flow, step by step.

What you need before you start

Quick Throttle 2.0.0, released on 6 October 2026, needs three things: a Windows or Mac computer, a Gemini API key for the pictures, and an AI to drive it. The AI can be a Claude or ChatGPT plan, or Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or Cursor.

The subscription you already pay for does the writing, so the words cost nothing extra. The pictures are billed by Google to your own key. Everything runs on your machine, and the picture requests go to Google through that key. Since 2.0.0, Quick Throttle also sends anonymous usage and error reports, and the changelog says one switch in Settings turns that off.

1.Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Quick Throttle

Quick Throttle's setup connects your AI for you. Pick Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Cursor, click one button, then ask it to tell Quick Throttle a joke. The joke shows up in setup the moment it gets through, so you know the line works.

The Claude app and ChatGPT need no terminal at all. If you'd rather use a coding agent, the desktop app opens Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI in your workspace in one click, and installs it first if it isn't there yet.

2.Make a brand from your app's link

A brand is where every fact your decks are written from lives. Setup ends by making your first one. Paste your app's link and your AI reads your site and reviews and fills the brand in while you watch. Then you check each line and fix anything it got wrong. No AI yet? Answer four quick questions yourself.

Each fact has a kind: verbatim, pain, proof, enemy or swipe. Your AI is told to mark anything it made up as a draft, never as a real quote, so check the facts it adds. The brand also keeps a never say list, and that list is a hard rule on every hook, slide and caption.

3.Ask your AI for draft decks

The first prompt is already written for you. An empty inbox names the AI you picked in setup and gives you the whole message for your first three slideshows, one click to copy.

When you want more say over the decks, paste this into the AI you connected and fill in the brackets:

Paste this into your AI

Use Quick Throttle. Read the brand briefing for [brand name] first, including the never say list.

Write me 3 TikTok slideshow drafts in one format: [a numbered list of tips / a texted conversation / pick the format from the briefing that fits best].

- 6 to 8 slides each. Slide 1 is the hook. The CTA, if there is one, is the last slide and nowhere else.
- 6 to 8 words of text on each slide, typed like a person in a hurry.
- Ground every deck in a real fact from the brand and tell me which one.
- Image prompts never ask for words, labels or signs in the picture.
- Repeat the same person, room and number of people word for word in every image prompt.
- Leave them as drafts. I'll approve them in the app.

Each draft lands in the inbox. The image prompt rule matters more than it looks. A label like "HER ROOM:" in a prompt gets drawn on the picture as literal words. And continuity is typed, not remembered, so repeat the same person, room and headcount word for word in every image prompt.

If you need help with what goes on the slides, the six step guide to TikTok slideshow app marketing covers the hook slide, where the app goes and soft against hard CTAs. The same hooks also work burned over a short clip, and the free hook overlay tool turns one clip and a list of lines into one MP4 per line, in your browser.

4.Approve, then press Gen Images

Approving a draft is where spending starts, because Gen Images is the step that calls Gemini. So nothing your AI writes gets pictures until you approve it. The Auto Gen switch in settings changes that. With it on, every draft that lands is approved and its pictures start the moment it arrives, whoever wrote it. Leave it off until you trust the drafts.

Gen Images runs as one job with its progress on the inbox row. A draft moves from draft to approved to illustrated to packed, and only you move it past draft.

5.Fix the words in Compose and render the pack

Compose is the canvas where you check each slide and move its text. Caption placement is per slide, so one slide sitting low costs the others nothing. Arrows on the preview step you through the deck.

Packs render at 1080x1350, a 4:5 frame, and pictures are cropped to fill it, never stretched. For a tall phone screenshot of your app, Quick Throttle's pad setting keeps the whole screen and extends its edge colours out to the sides instead of cropping the top and bottom off.

Press Render and the pack lands as a ZIP, or straight into a folder you pick with the cogwheel beside Render.

How to make TikTok slideshows with Claude from a viral one

Remixing starts with a link. Paste somebody's TikTok photo post into Quick Throttle's Downloader, short links included. The slides come down at full resolution without the username watermark, next to a file holding the caption, the author and the source link. A video post or a private account gets refused with a sentence saying why.

Each import has two remix buttons. Minimal keeps their words letter for letter and their slides as the pictures, and the only decision is the slide where their app was and yours goes. Creative keeps the skeleton, the tone and the look and writes the rest again, at roughly 80% of the original.

A remix then walks the same three steps: Approve, Gen Images, Compose. Here Gen Images is the clean pass. Each original goes back to Gemini with every word taken out, and the pack stays locked until that pass has run, so their text never ships under yours. Several decks off one post share one clean pass and one approval, which is how one viral slideshow turns into 20 of your own.

What does a TikTok slideshow cost to make with AI?

A Quick Throttle deck costs whatever Google charges for its pictures, on top of the app's one payment of $39 for the first 20 sales, then $99. Quick Throttle's own page says it like this: "A slideshow costs a few pennies depending on its length, and most have 3 to 6 pictures." Videos cost nothing.

Google bills those pictures to your own Gemini key, so the cost of a deck grows with its slide count. A cleaned picture gets reused if you remix the same post again, so you don't pay for it twice.

Those pictures are the only per deck cost the app adds. The writing rides on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have. If you're weighing that against a monthly slideshow tool, the 12 month cost table for ReelFarm alternatives lays out what each one charges.

Claude app, ChatGPT or Claude Code: which should drive it?

Any of these can drive it. Here's how the 2.0.0 changelog says each one connects:

AIHow it connects
Claude appAdd button in Settings, with no terminal at all
ChatGPTAdd button in Settings, with no terminal at all
Claude CodeOne click opens a terminal in your workspace with it running, or the Add button for any folder
CodexOne click opens a terminal in your workspace with it running
Gemini CLIOne click opens a terminal in your workspace with it running, or the Add button for any folder
CursorAdd button in Settings, in any folder

Never opened a terminal? Use the Claude app or ChatGPT. Want to change Quick Throttle itself? Pick Claude Code or Codex, since the full source comes with it and a coding agent can add the feature you want.

What TikTok slideshow automation in Quick Throttle won't do

Quick Throttle doesn't post decks to TikTok. A deck is a folder of images, so a queued deck comes due as a reminder and you post it yourself.

It won't draw pictures without your Gemini key, and it won't spend on a draft you haven't approved unless you turn Auto Gen on. There's also a Research screen in the desktop app for finding accounts in your niche. This guide leaves it out.

Quick questions

Is there a free TikTok AI slideshow generator?

Quick Throttle isn't free. It's $39 for the first 20 sales, then $99 once, and Google bills the pictures to your own Gemini key. Its free tools, Hook Overlay, Mute and Add Audio, run in your browser with no signup, but they work on videos, not slideshows.

Can Claude also handle TikTok videos?

Yes, in the hook over a clip format. Claude writes the lines and Quick Throttle's video side renders one finished video per line over the same clip, on your machine. For a single batch without the app, the free hook overlay tool does the same in your browser.

Can you build TikTok slideshows on a PC?

Yes. Quick Throttle 2.0.0 is a desktop app for Windows and Mac, and it writes, draws and renders whole decks there as packs of 1080x1350 images. You drive it from the Claude app, ChatGPT or a coding agent, then move the pack to wherever you post from.

Why is my TikTok slideshow cropped?

Usually the picture's shape doesn't match the frame. A tall phone screenshot inside a 4:5 slide loses about a third of itself to a cover crop. In Quick Throttle, attach screenshots with the pad setting, which keeps the whole image and extends its edge colours to fill the sides.

Will my AI spend money on pictures without asking?

Not unless you turn Auto Gen on. Every draft your AI writes waits in the inbox until you approve it, and approval is where the picture spend starts. With Auto Gen on, every draft is approved and its pictures started the moment it lands, so turn it off before asking for drafts you want to read first.

Can a slideshow mix photos and video clips?

Not in Quick Throttle's slideshow side, which makes images only. Video goes through its other pipeline, where a clip plus a line of text is one finished post, and a hook and demo format cuts two clips together. Make the decks and the videos separately and post both.

The part of Quick Throttle that does this

Every step above is Quick Throttle's slideshow side. Your AI writes the decks from your brand facts or remixes an imported slideshow, Gemini draws the pictures through your own key, and you approve, fix the words in Compose and render the pack.

Quick Throttle is a desktop app for Windows and Mac that runs locally, driven from the AI you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex), paid for once. If you only want lines on a video today, Hook Overlay is free, with no account and no watermark.
