ReelFarm Alternative With a One Time Payment (2026 Costs)

ReelFarm starts at $49 a month. Over a year that's $588 on its smallest plan. Here's what the alternatives cost over the same 12 months, and which ones you pay for once.

Two ReelFarm alternatives in this comparison take a one time payment. Quick Throttle is $39 until October 10, 2026, then $99 once, and runs on Windows 11 through Claude Code or Codex. Slide-Easy is $49 once and runs on an Apple Silicon Mac. As of 3 October 2026, ReelFarm's plans run $49 to $195 a month, so 12 months on its smallest plan costs $588.

I make Quick Throttle, so weigh my read with that in mind. I opened each company's own pricing page on 3 October 2026 and took every price and feature from there, not from using their apps. The copy was drafted with AI, and a second model checked every claim against its source.

Stay on ReelFarm if you want slideshows made and published to TikTok for you. Pick Slide-Easy if you're on an Apple Silicon Mac and want to pay once. Pick Quick Throttle if you're on Windows 11, already use Claude Code or Codex, and want to pay once.

What does ReelFarm cost over 12 months?

ReelFarm costs $588 to $2,340 a year, depending on the plan. As of 3 October 2026, the ReelFarm pricing page lists three plans, all billed monthly. Growth is $49 per month for 100 slideshows. Scale is $95 per month for 250 slideshows. Enterprise is $195 per month for 750 slideshows.

The page shows no yearly plan, no lifetime plan and no one time option. So the year is the monthly price times 12.

Per slideshow, that works out to $0.49 on Growth, $0.38 on Scale and $0.26 on Enterprise, if you use every one. Every plan includes "Publish to TikTok" and "Schedule posts", which matters later when you compare.

Quick Throttle plus Claude Pro, if you don't already pay for it$99 once, plus Claude Pro at $200 a year up front or $20 a monthClaude Code included in Claude Pro$299 to $339

Sources for each row are the Fastlane pricing page, the Genviral pricing page, the Slide-Easy home page and the Claude pricing page. Quick Throttle's price is on the Quick Throttle home page.

Why the last row is in the table

The last row is there because a one time price isn't always the whole cost. Quick Throttle drives itself from a Claude Code or Codex subscription. If you already pay for one, you don't pay for it again. If you don't, that subscription is part of your year.

As of 3 October 2026, the Claude pricing page lists Claude Pro at "$20 if billed monthly" or "$200 billed up front" for a year, and Pro includes Claude Code. Add that to $99 and the year is $299 to $339. At the $39 launch price it's $239 to $279.

Slideshow images are the other running cost on the Quick Throttle side. They're made with Gemini and paid to Google through your own Gemini API key, which Google gives you for free. Videos cost nothing to make.

Which ReelFarm alternatives let you pay once?

Two of the five tools here take one payment. Quick Throttle is $39 until October 10, 2026, then $99 once, and Slide-Easy is $49 once. ReelFarm and Fastlane bill monthly, and Genviral bills monthly or yearly.

Quick Throttle

Quick Throttle is a Windows app you run locally, on your own Windows 11 machine. It has two pipelines. Videos, where one clip plus a line of text is a finished post. And slideshows, where your brand facts become a story and the story becomes a pack of images. You drive it from Claude Code or Codex in plain words, and you approve and export in a browser app.

What the one payment gets you, from the sales page:

  • Full source code.
  • Free lifetime updates.
  • Unlimited commercial use.
  • No cap on posts, because it runs on your computer.
  • A 7 day money back guarantee if you can't run it.

One clip with 12 hooks over it is 12 posts. I ran one Instagram account that way and it did around 5 million views, every post the same clip with a different line on top. How that account got 5 million views has the whole loop.

Slide-Easy

Slide-Easy is a Mac app that costs $49 once. As of 3 October 2026, its page says "Today it makes Instagram Reels and carousels". The key "works on 2 Macs, with 2 years of updates".

It needs "Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), 16 GB memory, macOS 15+". Your first 7 posts are free, and there's a "Full refund within 14 days".

Which subscription alternatives cost less than ReelFarm?

Fastlane and Genviral both have plans under ReelFarm's $49 a month. Neither offers a one time payment, but if you want posting built in and a lower bill, these are the two to look at.

Fastlane

Fastlane has a free plan and paid plans from $29 a month. As of 3 October 2026, the free plan is $0 with "No credit card" and 10 AI Studio credits. Starter is $29 a month with 20 content saves and 25 AI UGC characters.

The Fastlane home page says it posts "directly to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn". If AI UGC characters are what you're after, Fastlane lists them from Starter up. Quick Throttle doesn't have AI UGC actors.

Genviral

Genviral offers yearly billing, which neither ReelFarm nor Fastlane lists on its pricing page. As of 3 October 2026, Creator is $29 a month or $290 a year, which the page explains as "Annual billing is charged as 10 months, so 2 months are free." It includes 200 credits per month and 5 social accounts.

The Genviral home page calls it "the agentic social media scheduler that runs itself" and lists posting to 10 platforms, TikTok and Instagram among them. One thing to know before you pick a plan. The pricing page says "Credits are not carried over into the next billing period."

Who each ReelFarm alternative suits

Who should pick which comes down to your machine, whether you want posting built in, and how you'd rather pay. The table is my read, built from what each company's own page says it does.

Tool Payment Suits you if Doesn't suit you if
ReelFarm$49 to $195 a monthYou want TikTok slideshows made and published to TikTok for youYou want to pay once
FastlaneFree, then $29 to $149 a monthYou want AI UGC characters and posting to 4 platformsYou want to pay once
Genviral$29 to $199 a month, or yearlyYou want a scheduler for 10 platforms with slideshows built inYour usage swings month to month, since credits don't carry over
Slide-Easy$49 onceYou're on an Apple Silicon Mac and want Reels and carouselsYou're on Windows
Quick Throttle$39 once until October 10, 2026, then $99 onceYou're on Windows 11, already use Claude Code or Codex, and want the source codeYou want it to post to TikTok for you, or you'd rather not touch a terminal

Two of those limits on our side are worth saying plainly. The Quick Throttle sales page lists posting to TikTok as a No. You export the files and post them yourself, or connect a scheduler like Postiz and schedule from the same Claude Code terminal. And you need to be a little technical. You need Claude Code or Codex inside Cursor or VS Code, and you need to be able to paste in one line.

A phone lying on a wooden desk with a grid of short vertical videos on its screen, next to white wired earphones, a cup of coffee on a cork coaster and the corner of a laptop.
Count the posts first. The yearly price follows from that.

How to pick a ReelFarm alternative

Pick by working out your year first, then checking what you'd lose.

  1. Count how many posts you plan to make a month. ReelFarm's Growth plan covers 100 slideshows. If you post 3 to 5 times a day, that's 90 to 150 a month.
  2. Multiply the monthly price by 12. A subscription that looks small at $29 is $348 a year.
  3. Add the running cost of any one time tool. For Quick Throttle that's a Claude Code or Codex subscription if you don't have one, plus Gemini image costs for slideshows.
  4. Check your machine. Quick Throttle is built and tested on Windows 11. Slide-Easy needs an Apple Silicon Mac.
  5. Decide if you need posting built in. ReelFarm, Fastlane and Genviral all post for you. The one time tools give you files.

If you mostly make videos, try the free side first. The free hook overlay tool puts one line of text on a clip and gives you one MP4 per line, in your browser, with no signup and no watermark. That's enough to test whether the one clip, many hooks format works for you before you pay anyone anything.

Quick questions

Does ReelFarm have an API?

Yes. As of 3 October 2026, the ReelFarm pricing page lists "API access + Skill.md" on the Growth, Scale and Enterprise plans. Enterprise also lets you add an Anthropic API key for unlimited generations.

Does ReelFarm have a yearly plan or a free trial?

No yearly plan, but there is a free start. As of 3 October 2026 the ReelFarm pricing page offers 3 TikToks free, then three monthly plans, Growth at $49, Scale at $95 and Enterprise at $195. It shows no yearly price and no lifetime plan.

Is Fastlane free?

Fastlane has a free plan. As of 3 October 2026 it's $0, needs no credit card and comes with 10 AI Studio credits. Paid plans start at $29 a month for Starter.

Do Genviral credits roll over?

No. The Genviral pricing page says "Credits are not carried over into the next billing period." So a month where you post less doesn't bank anything for the next one.

Does Quick Throttle work on a Mac?

Not today. Quick Throttle is built and tested on Windows 11. If you're on an Apple Silicon Mac and want a one time price, Slide-Easy is $49 once and lists M1 or newer as its requirement.

Does Quick Throttle post to TikTok for you?

No. The Quick Throttle sales page lists posting to TikTok as a No. You export the files and post them yourself, or connect a scheduler like Postiz and schedule from the same Claude Code terminal.

Do I need a Claude Code or Codex subscription for Quick Throttle?

Yes, you need one of the two, because that's how you drive it. If you don't already pay for it, Claude Pro is $20 a month or $200 billed up front for a year as of 3 October 2026, and it includes Claude Code.

Can I get a refund on Quick Throttle?

Yes. The Quick Throttle sales page offers a 7 day money back guarantee if you can't run it. For comparison, Slide-Easy's page lists a full refund within 14 days.

What Quick Throttle does here

Quick Throttle is a Windows app you run locally, driven from Claude Code or Codex, and paid for once. It's $39 until October 10, 2026, then $99 once, with the full source code and free lifetime updates. It writes the hooks, draws the slideshows and renders the videos on your own machine.

If you only need text on a video, the free hook overlay tool does that part for nothing. One clip, as many lines as you want, one finished MP4 per line.
