Do I need an account or a sign up?

What video format does it take, and what do I get back?

Give it an MP4 and you get MP4s back, at the clip's own size, capped to a 1920px long edge. Vertical 9:16 clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts are what it's tuned for.

Which browsers does it work in?

Desktop Chrome and desktop Edge. Firefox and Safari don't have the video encoder it needs yet, and it checks for that feature rather than sniffing the browser name, so it'll start working in those on its own the day they ship it. It doesn't run on phones.

Is it really free, and what's the catch?
